Enhance Your Visual Experience with AI-Powered Bing Image Creator, Visual Stories & Updated Knowledge Cards

Last month, Microsoft introduced the AI-powered Bing and Microsoft Edge, revolutionizing the web experience with better search, complete answers, and a new chat experience. With over 100 million chats, users are discovering new ways to use chat for refining answers, entertainment, and creative inspiration. Now, Bing is taking the chat experience to the next level by becoming more visual with the introduction of Bing Image Creator, AI-powered visual Stories, and updated Knowledge Cards.

The human brain processes visual information 60,000 times faster than text, making visual tools essential for search, creation, and understanding. Bing data shows that images are the second most searched category after general web searches. With Bing Image Creator, powered by an advanced version of OpenAI's DALL∙E model, users can generate images and text content within chat by simply describing the image they want to create.

Bing Image Creator will be fully integrated into Bing chat, initially in Creative mode. Users can type a description, provide context, and choose an art style to generate a custom image. Microsoft and OpenAI have incorporated safeguards and additional protections to ensure responsible use of the Image Creator and limit the generation of harmful or unsafe images.

In addition to Bing Image Creator, AI-powered visual Stories and Knowledge Cards 2.0 are now available to all Bing users. Stories offer an engaging way to search and interact with content through images and short videos. Knowledge Cards 2.0 provides AI-powered infographics with fun facts and key information in an interactive format.

Bing Image Creator integrated into Bing chat will roll out to Bing preview users on both desktop and mobile, with language support expanding over time. Microsoft Edge users can access the Image Creator from the sidebar on both desktop and mobile. The new Bing preview waitlist is open, and Microsoft looks forward to user feedback to continue improving the experience.

Below some of the examples it created for me.
